Hello, and welcome to my portfolio! My name is Christine Barrett, and Iām a photographer and writer based out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The name Atomic Travel was inspired by two of my many obsessions: mid-century everything and Las Vegas. As you can see by my galleries, I enjoy photographing remnants of roadside Americana, abandoned motels and attractions, neon signs, and all kinds of desert oddities. Nothing thrills me like hitting a long, empty stretch of highway and watching for spots to pull over with my camera.
When Iām not on the road, I also shoot real estate and interiors throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
